Ottawa life

The Ottawa Tribe ate fish. They caught the fish in a nearby river. They cooked it over the fire which was in the center of the village.

The Ottawa used birch bark for the top of the summer house.

The Ottawa Tribe got nuts from hickory trees in a nearby forest.

The Ottawa tribe lived by fish they could make necklaces out of the fish teeth and they lived by a lot of forests of white pine.

The Ottawa used hickory wood for tools.

The Ottawa tribe used birch bark for canoes. Porcupine teeth for necklaces. Bottom of the white pine for wood.    

The Ottawa used sweet grass to braid so the fire does not smell.

The Ottawa tribe used birch bark for tools to dig.
