Paul Blog Post

In bible class we have been learning about paul and his ministry’s. 4 things i learned is…

  1. he was a tentmaker
  2. he knew lots of laguages
  3. a pharasy
  4. and was previously a chrisstian perseceuter

I try to think of paul in hard times and when I make mistakes. Its because he made some bad decisions but yet Jesus forgave him and from killing people he went to telling people about jesus.  Also because he is a very faithfull man and i wish i could meet hime because he has had 2 very different selfs of him in his life.

Earthquake towers

Our tower was not the height it was supposed to be. but we were 1 of the 2 in our group that had our egg hold. it was cause it was almost stuck in a three way socket we had put it in. after out tower had broke so our tower was worth about 5oo hundred dollars.

Math project

So we thought we could make a world record jump so we had 400 feet cleared out for the jump we made 200 foot for a run up to the jump. Also broke the record of speed on skis of 156.8 the jump is 80 feet high then we had to find out if it was legal. 215.41 it was legal.

Theme Writing

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:10-11

I  was always wondering how the 8th graders picked the theme. It was interesting how we picked the theme at the end of 7th grade.  We can show our theme, Lost in Love, to others in our school and to people in the world.

As an 8th grader there’s ways I can show our theme at school. I’m a small  group leader so i’m gonna try to teach the 2 grades below the theme. Saying hello to the younger kids I remember always thinking the 8th graders were so old, And now I am in 8th grade and I know what the younger kids think of us. Another way is outside or in the halls showing respect with not doing things I shouldn’t do being the oldest in the school.

As Christians there are many ways to show the world our theme. Help people if getting places if they struggle walking or struggle with something else. Even showing someone our theme verse and telling them what it means to be lost in love. Our theme this year is very do able to show it but we must do it its as easy as opening the dore or making dinner for your family.

I think we have a great theme and we can show it in many ways and knowing how younger kids feel I want them to remember this theme. We can show our theme, Lost in Love, to others in our school and to people in the world.
