Immigration Day (November 14, 2018… Wednesday)

Yesterday was immigration day, we had a lot going on yesterday, from talking to immigrants who came here to the US, to going to the HCHS play, Cinderella. The first person we talked to was someone Mrs Raitz. She told us a lot about what it was like in Costa Rica. She told us how she made Tamales, they looked really big, though they are decently small. The first time I had a Tamale, was a few weeks ago, when me and my dad had gotten tamales together, before we went to a rally for Bill Huizenga, Bill Schuete, and a few other people. I didn’t really know who was at the rally until we got there. Back to the story/blog post…

The second person we talked to is the I think uncle or something to one of my old friends. His name is Mr Van Eyk. He is a true Hollander, he came from the Netherlands, and he shared so much about his life, and he brought she really cool artifacts, well at least for those who like instruments. He brought in a couple of harmonica’s, one from the Netherlands, and one from here, America/the U.S. If you know me decently enough, you know that I like a LOT of things, and i’ve always wanted to play the violin. It’s an intense instrument, and well, I just have always wanted to play it. I one time played a ukulele, and I made some pretty good music for doing it for the first time ever.

Thank you for reading this blog post, it’s been fun doing all this stuff, so I may post again later!!
