What I learned in this project that designers do a lot of work before they get to see the end product. They have to make sure that they know the problem that the client wants solved. Next they have to know that it can’t be what they want and that it has to be about the client. Then they have to unveil their solution to the world which explaining the good things about your product. Then you “Punch it” you think of short catchy phrases for your product name. Then you have to focus on the benefits which means tell the people why your product is good. Next designers have to Demonstrate to the people out in the world and tell them what your product is and what the benefits from it are. Then Finally you have to have a plan. You can’t just go out there and just asume that people are going to buy your product with out you telling them about it. Some of these things are very important for designers and they helped us with our project too. We learned a lot about designing in these past couple of weeks.
Science
A couple of days a go in Science we made our own sedimentary rocks. First we had to make make sediment we did this by using potato peelers and cheese graters this made little scraps of crayon. Then we put them in a piece of tinfoil and wrapped it up tight then we put it under pressure for a week and a half then it came out as a whole piece. Next we are going to make metamorphic rocks which you have pressure but also you add heat. That is what we have been doing in Science these past couple days.
