What learned? What do?
I learned that not all persecution means death, although much of it is. In Azerbaijan people are imprisoned and don’t have money to provide for their families. They get stuck with minimum wage jobs, and many people don’t give them jobs because they are Christians. Many houses are raided and vandalized by authorities. They come to check if you are having religious services and they make up stories about people hurting police.
I can pray for people in persecuted countries like Azerbaijan. I would like to start something maybe in my catechism class and we can donate money to them. Spreading the word to people like in my youth group and just spreading awareness of what’s happening and how fortunate we are.
