chose this picture of people walking around because that is what the Israelites did for 40 years. because they disobeyed they didn’t go to the promised land. one thing we should do is that we should trust God to keep us safe. when they were able to come back in they were scared they sent spies to go in to make sure it was safe. and then they made it to the promised land. and that is why we should trust God to keep us safe.

I chose this picture of a promise because we should keep our promises. Just like when Jesus keeps his convenient with Moses to never flood the earth again. Also when Jesus asked Jacob to go to a foreign land and he obeyed. Also, we should do what God asked us to do. To hear God we should read the bible and go to church. And that is why we should keep Gods covenant.

I chose this picture of the alphabet because I think God has a name that starts with every letter of the alphabet. I can name like 7. Emmanuel, I Am, Jesus alpha and omega prince of peace Massiah and that is about it. God gave names according to what they did like when Jacob turned in to Israel which means to struggle with God. my name means son of a grey-haired man. And now I know that God has many names

Something is rotten

I chose this picture of a brown banana because Israel went from ok to bad. One reason is they were scattered by Assyria so they were surrounded by a baal worshipping community.  Another reason is the king sometimes worshipped baal so the people worshipped baal. God sent Elijah to tell the king that is you don’t change you will die. They didn’t listen so they died. And that is how Israel went from ok to bad.

I chose this picture of a landslide because the Israelites went from a decent king to a really bad king. When the Israelites demanded a king God gave them a king that was ok and his name was Saul. Saul was ok but he focused on popularity and power, not God. the worst one was Ahab. He was a killer and was worried about someone taking his power so he had gauds everywhere he went. And that is why Israel made a bad choice to have a king other than God.

 I chose this picture of the cross because Jesus is the ultimate saviour. The Israelites could not keep the covenant of staying true to God. God sent Jeremiah to rebuild the covenant that God made. He not only did that but he restored Jerusalem. And one thing I learned is that Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice. And that is why Jesus is the ultimate saviour.

I chose this picture of the sun to represent that God always shines. David was one of those lamps. He was a man after Gods own heart. And guess who came out of David’s line… Jesus! God loved David even though he made mistakes. And we can be a lamp for God too.
