Thoughts about Request Foods

What did you learn?

I learned that Request Foods it is a hugh place and makes really cool food. And I learned that a lot of employees work at Request Foods. Also, I learned that freezer there is about below 23 degrees!

What amazed you?

What amazed me was that the large machinery. And when the food was set and in boxes, a machine carried them away while riding in spiral thingy.

What would you like about working in a plant like that?

I think I would like working in the conveyor belts. Because that you can listen to music. You wouldn’t be able to listen to music in any other place because you would have to listen to the hilos.

Do you think it is a Christian organization? How could you tell?

I really don’t know if it is a Christian organization. I think so, but I am not 100% sure if it is right.

Would you like to go back? If so, what would you want to know more about?

I would really want to go back. I would want to know more about the conveyor belts and how the machiney works and go to where we couldn’t go the last time we went there as a whole 5th grade.

What questions would you like to ask someone who works there?

I don’t think I would have any questions.

Other thoughts about going to Request Foods:

My thoughts were that just myself was the only person to bring a sack lunch. But I did have a juice box and ice cream for desert. When we were looking how they made lasagna, our toor guide gave us some un-cooked lasagna and we got to touch and feel it. It really felt like Play-Doh

Reflection on Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you

Do not be dismayed, for I am your God

I will strengthen you and help you

I will hold you in my righteouss right hand

Isaiah 41:10

This verse means that we should not fear because God is with us. We can find comfort in these workds as a middle schooler of 5th grader is that when we are frightened, you should remember these words and you just pray to God and ask him to comfort you when you are frightened.

You can recall these words when you are an adult when you are going through a hard time. You just pray to God and ask him to stregthen you.

“The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly” – Spring Break Reflections

The Good:

The good stuff about Spring Break is that we saw 3 movies. 2 on Redbox and 1 in the theater. The two we saw on Redbox were “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” and “Big Hero 6”. We also went out to eat twice. We went to Wolfie’s with my Grandma and Grandpa and went to Logan’s Roadhouse with me, Sarah, and Mom. Also we watched a lot of Tigers’ games. A couple with Grandma and Grandpa and a lot with just Mom and Sarah. We also went to stores and bought stuff with our own money. First, we went to Hobby Lobby in Holland. I got a pack of 50 markers for $9.99, and Sarah got marbles and fart putty. Then, on the day where we went to the theater, we went to a store called 5 Below, and Sarah got this “Art Set”, and a “Nerf” gun. I got this Old Western gun with 1,800 shots and something that I forgot.

The Bad:

The bad stuff about Spring Break was that I got sick. I threw-up about three times and we couldn’t do a whole lot of surprises that my Mom had up her sleeve. If I didn’t get sick, we would’ve gone to Hampton Inn. Also, My sister got sick the week before I got sick, she was sick way longer than I was. She was sick from Saturday night to about Wednesday morning. I was sick from Saturday to Monday, than threw-up on Wednesday night. And also when we went to Walmart, Sarah bought a oack of 20 or 25 bullets with her gun so she wouldn’t lose them and have no bullets. So it was kind of having “rein-forcements”.

The Ugly:

There weren’t a lot of ugly things that happened over Spring Break, but to me it was puking a lot when I was sick. I’d bet you Sarah would have said the same thing: the puking. Other than that, I don’t think there was anything other that was ugly over Spring Break. 1 more thing: It was ugly that we had to come back to school. I was having such a good time on Spring Break, I could have it for another week or two.
