JP

  • In India, there are so many people. India has 1/3 the land of US in size, but has 3 times as many people.
  • When you encounter someone from another country, you can’t put them in a different group, just because of how they look, or because of their story. For Example, if someone complains that they haven’t seen their parents for 3 weeks, and then JP says he has not seen his parents in two years, you don’t have the right to say, “Well your different”, because it’s not.
  • To be able to have pride that you have lived in another country is good
  • In India there was 1,652 different languages, so JP spoke 6 different languages
  • Help all, even if those people who are not the top of the social tower, because they can become Christians, and everyone matters

Take Aways:

  • Even when they don’t have everything they want, a lot of them make the best out of life
  • The Kid that going back to school, it was like going back to a bombing zone, and it was like opening an old wound
  • The Woman who had a son’s death, and then a few years later her other son died on the same day (first son- shot in leg- dragged 200 meter behind truck-left on road-then killed)
  • Not all people with the same religion are bad
  • Each society has bad people
  • Like the lady that croche the different things out of plastic bags, being resourceful
  • Uncertainty of a loved one maybe bombed
