God at Work

In bible we have been learning about Saul and his missionary. Be for he was a teacher for God he learned how to make tents which could have helped him when doing missions for God. He was a very smart person and knew a lot of things, he even had a private teacher. He was a Roman citizen and a Jewish citizen which could have helped him travel and get into cities.  His family was wealthy which could have helped him with travel expenses and other things while on missions.

God is working in me because our family adopted and it took a really long time. He is giving me patience and to look around and see him through everything some how because he is the creator of everything and everyone. I learned that things we have others might not.

In Science we have been learning about volcanoes. Just recently we got to make our own and make a poster in groups. We made it out of paper mache and cardboard. We also painted it. We got to chose if we wanted to make it explode or not but we didn’t. We based our volcano off of the one in Hawaii called the Mauna Loa, it is a shield volcano on a hot spot on the Pacific plate.

Colombia (1)-1vpckb1

We have been working on this project for a couple of weeks and it was fun. Our group worked good together, we could make decisions as a group and they would work great. We did a keynote, poster, flag, paper writing, and a game. We also had a donation box where the money would go to Voice of the Martyrs. Im glade we could do this because it spread the news that is happing in Colombia. This is not ok and should be stop so please pray for these people.

8th Grade Theme Writing

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

This year our theme verse is 1 John 4:10-11 and it says how were Lost in Love.We can show our theme, Lost in Love, to others in our school and to people in the world.

I can show this theme many ways at school. Like we can care for someone in need like if a loved one passed away we could comfort them. Also if someone needed help with homework we could provide them with some information to help them out. Someone could be a friend to someone in a different grade who is lonely so they can play with someone and have fun, outside on the playground.

In the world we could help someone by teaching them about Christ and who He is. So that they can get to know him and accept him in their heart. They could visit a prison and volunteer to preach to them and have a Christian relationship with them. Someone could go around giving food to the homeless for free so they could have a snack and see Christ through that action.

We can show our theme, Lost in Love, to others in our school and to people in the world. There are many more ways we could show love to others so I encourage you to try to be a disciple of God and be Lost in Love by sharing his word. So you should try your best to be nice and be patient.

What Im looking forward to this year is the volcano experiment

I went to friends cottages and went boating behind their boat. I went surfing, knee boarding, wake boarding, and tubing. I went to Michigan Adventures with a friend. We rode every ride there. we had a lot of fun. I had a lot of fun this summer.

African Union Day

2 issues that were debated were equal human rights and government rights. I think in a country with a strong government that takes over would be good with government rights. It’s always good when people are all treated the same. The thing I enjoyed was the part where we could ask questions and see why there idea was best. The hardest part about the whole thing was when we had to go in front of the class and present what we brain stormed.

Little Boy: He did not like the South Africa rugby team. He didn’t even want to wear a jersey other wise he would get beat up by the other kids. At the end he was cheering with the cops for the South Africa team. They ended up winning so he was very exited. He also cheered with the cops and they ended up picking him up and cheering with him when South Africa won the world champions game.

Nelson M. Leader: He was in jail for 26 years in a tinny jail cell. He was released and became the president. He was nice to both black and white people. The rugby team won because he encouraged them. He loved watching his team.

Response To The Film

Didn’t know there were that many eagles. I didn’t know that Mongolia was right above China. It gets really cold like -40 degrees. The horses look different because they have a lot of fur and need it for the cold. Some people didn’t like that a girl participated in the festival.

Response To The Article

How did he get around to film all these people in the mountains and in the middle of nowhere? I wonder if the girl won anymore festivals. If she looks ford to doing it again next year. If she will teach her kids in the future.

To Scale: The solar System

-It was cool that it took over 7 miles of desert to scale all the planets. It made me think if there were actually people on the moon. Cool to see how much effort they put into the model. It was my favorite of them all. I like they they showed us what they found out about the solar system.

Running Wild

– Scary to run when there could be a animal right around the tree. It would be bad if you sprained you ankle because you could be stuck out there tell help comes. The runners could run 100 miles per race. It would be difficult I think when your running for a whole day. It would be fun to see God’s creation and nature.

Canyon Song

– It would be fun going out and playing in the canyon. They look like there happy they know there past. I wonder if there still Christians because they sing to the tribe spirits. If they ever get tired of going out to the canyon. If they will past the past to there kids.

Possible Jobs

-Camera man, Driver, Marble maker, Hunting camera maker, Farmer, Light maker, runner, designer, and a surf board maker.

1. There is a long process and a lot of time to get a visa to the USA.

2. That India has 1652 different languages.

3. JP is the only one from his family that is out of India.

4. He left when  he was 17 years old for school.

5. That life is never easy when you leave your home and family.

Living on One Dollar

Posted by kcook22 | Posted in Culture Blog | Posted on October 14, 2016

I felt glade when the four people went back to the persons house who helped them and gave back what they gave to them.

I learned that most of the people have to actually live on one dollar.

I wonder how many people actually go there just to get the experience like the movie each year.

I wish more people would take the stand and help out a country by taking there time to help.

If I could change how much money each family could spend a day I would.

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny, yet one of them will fall apart from the will of your father and even the vary hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid you are worth more than many sparrows.
