The character who I thought changed the most was most of the body guards and the presidents staff members. At first the black body guard did not like the white body guards and he felt that they had bad intentions. He didn’t trust them. I feel like the president was an example because he respected white people. Throughout the movie I felt like the whole rugby situation helped all of the staff members realize that the only difference is skin color and that doesn’t mean they can’t be friends. I knew that they changed when they were playing rugby together outside and the president knew that rugby had sort of changed their attitudes.

Something that impacted me was the relationship between the black and white people. Even though they didn’t like each other at first, in the end they got along. That teaches us that even though people may look different, we shouldn’t judge them because they aren’t different then us besides their skin color. We should respect them whatever they may look like.

I learned how to dissolve oxygen.  We learned about sea lamprey and how they came here. We sampled water and more stuff about it. I learned what is in the water and what is going on.  We learned about nutrients and organic materials.

Both Spring Lake and Grand River was Eutrophic. They were both dirty so we should try harder to keep the lakes clean.

My favorite part was when Annika and I dissolved oxygen. It was cool when we used the different indicator chemicals to see how much dissolved oxygen there was. It was something I think we both never did before so it was fun to try something new.

Mi parte favorita de esta actividad fue cuando hicimos los debates. Todos tenían un pensamiento y perspectiva diferente de el conflicto y fue interesante para escuchar que querían decir. Ahora entiendo mas del conflicto y como podemos ayudar.  Fue muy divertido para yo para decir mi opinion también cuando fuimos en dos grupos y escribir el resolución. Ademas de escuchar las ideas de los otros personas, yo meguste cuando yo podría decir mis pensamientos y mi perspectiva acera del conflicto. Todos trabajemos bien juntos y en el fin decidimos la manera mejor para ayudar a Mali. Este muy mi parte favorita.

Después de esta actividad, aprendí mas de las personas que estábamos con.  Todos tienen opiniones y talentos diferentes. Algunas personas son muy buenos en hablar enfrente de personas y decir sus ideas y otros solo no decir nada pero tener ideas increíbles. Peinso que la mayoria de nosotros disfutámos de la actividad. Fue tiempo bueno para expresar que estaba pensando. Tambien aprendí mas de que esta pasando en el mundo. Hay problemas muy grandes y es algo que necesitamos saber. Ahora sabemos que es la manera buena de resolver un conlicto y se acerca de los opiniones de otras personas.

Pienso que mi papel en la comunidad es para ayudar a los países que están en problemas.  Por ejemplo, unos años atrás Haiti tenia un terremoto muy grande. Muchas personas murieron y muchísimas familias perdieron cosas. A pesar de que este paso mucho tiempo atrás, este no significa que todo es bien! Todavía necesitan recursos y otras cosas para vivir y construir su ciudad otra vez! Todavía debemos ayudar a ellos. No podemos olvidar de personas que son en situaciones difíciles. Podemos hacer muchas cosas buenas para ayudar a todos.
