“ They have no speech, they use no words, no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all of the earth, their words to the end of the world.

Psalm 19:3-4

Last May as a 7th grade class almost 8th grade we went to camp Roger to go to Leadership camp. At Leadership camp we learned how to be leaders, along with that we chose a theme for the 2014-2015 school year. We came up with the theme Shout Silently- Actions that speak. I can use the theme we chose at school or with I am at home.

I can use the theme at school by helping someone who is lost or confused by our crazy schedule. I can be nice and talk to kids who look lonely or who are in a different grade. I could also help people with their homework if they need help.

I could also use our school theme at my house or outside school. I can help out at church with VBS or Children and Worship. I can also do things around the house to help out without being asked like picking up my room. I could also try to be nicer to my brothers.

I can Shout Silently when I am at home or at school it doesn’t matter where! There is lots that I can do as an 8th grader to live out our theme. It’s good to Shout Silently wherever you are.

Descriptive Paragraph

Our assignment was to Describe a person, place, or thing, i choose to do thing. how did i do?

He has a black back and a tan belly, brown head…he is Mickey, the yorkshire terrier. Mickey lives in our house, sleeps in my parents bed, we got him when I was 6 months old. When I was a baby, Mickey (when he was the size of your hand) would climb on me (when I was laying on the ground) and took my pacifier out of my mouth and shred it behind the couch. Whenever you come to our house Mickey will bark. He loves giving kisses (but not to my mom she yells at him because she thinks its gross)! For some unknown reason Mickey “chokes” himself…the vet says hes sneezing on the inside! Mickey is very soft, and he loves to be pet and to have belly scratches. He is a BIG treat snob, he only likes 2 kinds of doggie treats (his favorite is beacon strips)! He is funny because he is only will play catch inside…he also will not play tug of war outside ether. Mickey loves the sun, we find him on the front step a lot just laying In the sun. If you ever come to my house watch out for him, he likes to sit right in front of a running car! He is a senior citizen. He’s 11 (in people years)! He has bells to ring when he wants to go outside…my mom trained him to do that. I LOVE MICKEY! Yorkshire terriers are the best kind of dog a family could have!!!
