Hola a todos,
Feliz Octubre, happy October! What a beautiful start to fall/October we’ve had. We’ve gotten to enjoy mild-warm temps and lots of beauty in God’s creation. We’ve also been celebrating many beautiful things in our classroom, like our families (both our school family and home family) and also the different countries around the world that speak Spanish! As we wrap up Hispanic Heritage month, 4th and 5th grade students will be presenting on their country so our classes can learn more about what makes each place special. We’ve also continued to celebrate our blessings each Wednesday with a worship song and sharing what we’re grateful for in Spanish.
1st and 2nd graders will continue learning about “familia” and will draw and label our own families.
3rd graders will deepen their knowledge of “familia” by describing their family members with the verb “ser.”
4th/5th graders will wrap up their students of Spanish speaking countries. Students had a quiz on countries/capitals, and they will present their country project to the class.
