The Stoning of Stephen

One day the disciples were deciding what to do about the distribution of food among the believers and the widows. The disciples thought that it would be bad if the were weighed down by having to “wait tables” instead of spreading Gods word. They decided to chose seven people to help with the people in town and they would go to other countries and minister.
So Stephen was a super Godly guy. He was full of faith and of the Holy Spirit and he did great miracles and the people loved him. But some of the “freepeople” didn’t like him. So they told some secret lies to the people that Stephan had said blasphemous things against the church. So they brought him to court and they said to him “are these charges true?” Everyone looked at him and they could tell that he was gonna unleash some holy spirit on the people right there and then. He told the people about the history of them how Abraham had left Ur and how moses had saved the Israelite slaves in Egypt. He tells them how humans cannot make a place for God because God says “heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool” then Stephen said “you stiff necked people! You resist the holy spirit!”. The people had had enough and they dragged him out and stoned him. While he was being stoned he prayed lord jesus receive my spirit and died.
