How has God been preparing you to do work for him?

I feel like God has been preparing me by giving me the opportunity to go to a Christian school. It’s awesome that I can be in an environment where I can speak open mindedly about my faith. Also I feel like God had and still is pushing me out of my comfort zone. I’m not the type of person who likes to go out and do something, I’d rather stay home and listen to music. Everything changed when I heard about the Costa Rica trip school was doing. I heard a lot about it from my sister that went on the same trip a few years earlier and I knew from then on that I wanted to go on that trip. Costa Rica was an amazing trip that shaped my faith and helped me build stronger friendships with some people. I also feel that God is preparing me through the gifts and talents that He’s given me. One talent that God has given me is my creativity. I really like to create my own superheroes. I know that sound childish but I LOVE superheroes and comic book related things.

What I learned about in Kazakhstan, is that if you participate in a church run event you will get thrown in jail. You can’t do anything related to the Bible without having the police come and stop you.

I think it’s important that we study Christian persecution because it let’s us know what is happening to other Christians around the world. It’s also important because we get to know about the difficulties of living in other countries as a Christian. Another reason it’s important is we can know and understand what happens to the Christians that are being persecuted.

In class we made a list of our ideal church VS. what the early church was. Our ideal church had things like Comfy chairs and a funny pastor but the early church was all about fellowship and being together. In my opinion I think that we should try yo make our church’s more like the early church because the early church is a good modle of what we want.

Jesus’ crucifixion is important because it’s when he died for our sins. He was finishing God’s plan for all of us. Through the 7 last “words” of Jesus we see that he really was doing God’s will on earth.
