This week in church we learned about listening to other people. One of the main ways to show people that you love and care about them is listening to them. Even if you don’t agree with what their saying, listen to them, and do not wait for a moment where you can put your own opinion in. The average human has about a 8 second attention span until we start wandering off in our minds and thinking about something else other than the person in front of us. When we are with friends or family, we should put our cell phone away and listen to what they have to say. We should become quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

This week in Bible we have been studying different names of Jesus. The name that I was assigned to Is Everlasting Father. Jesus, when he was on earth, was a fatherly character to us. He cared about the people that he met and he helped them through things. God is always watching over us, and he cares for us like a father would. God is everlasting, and he is our father. I think this is cool that he is always there for us, no matter what happens.
