Electromagnet

What did you learn from the experiment?
This is how you make a nail into a Electromagnet, you need some wire, and a battery and take the nail and the wire and coil ( about 23 times.) The wire around the nail and then take some tape. Tape the wire on the two sides of the battery. Then the nail would pick up 5 paper clips that is how you make a nail into a Electromagnet.

How does what you learned apply to a pinball machine?
When the ball goes up the Electromagnet gets the ball from going anymore and the game over for that person.
Or when the ball goes in the hole then the Electromagnet sucks the ball up then a new ball goes by the launcher to do it again.

Circuit

What did I learn from the experiment?
I have learned to make a circuit and how to make a homemade switch. The switch makes the light bulb go on and to make it go off. Oh and I needed a battery and a battery holder, a piece of cardboard, 8 cm and 4 cm of tinfoil, 2 pieces of wire, and a light bulb and a light bulb holder for the homemade switch.

How does what you learned apply to a pinball machine ?

When the ball drops into the bad hole theres it says your a loser and the ball drops in the good hole they get a piece of candy and it makes a complete circuit.
