Our volcano is called a composite volcano. It is an explosive volcano. We didn’t make it explode in this project. We had charcoal as the cinders and we painted it for the lava. The volcano is made out of styfophome. The magma chamber is water with red food coloring in a plastic bag, the volcanic gasses is tinfoil.
Some ways that I think that God is preparing my for my life is that I am going to Costa Rica this year after school gets out with school for a mission trip. I think that God is going to open my eyes to see the world in a different perspective than just Michigan and having a lot of things when people half way across the world have nothing any yet they are so willing to give up whatever they have for you. Some talents that I think that God has given my are the ability to play sports and I think that is going to be able to help me reach out to people in the future.
Some things that I learned in this project is that Sudan is extremely persecuted and that they need help. we can help by praying for them. We can also help by donating to ministries that help them.
Our tower sucked really bad, Something that went well was nothing. Something that didn’t go well was everything, I dropped the tower 2 times. My favorite part of this project was using the cardboard cutter. The least favorite part was making the tower.
I think that it is important that we study christian persecution because we need to be aware of the hard things that christians have to go through around the world. We also need to be aware that we have it very easy compared to other people around the world. Also we need to pray and help the christians that are going through this.
So we did a compression of the ideal church that you would want and the early church and what they wanted. What we wanted was really luxury things and what the early church wanted was communion and being together.
Some of my personal thoughts about this is that we should want more to be together and give more. We should probably not want luxury things instead of what the early church wanted.
Some of my thoughts about jesus crucifixion is that he was very humble. He was telling the people that they didnt know what they were doing. And that he would forgive them.
I went to hope collage with the worship team to watch theme practice and do a chapel. I saw God in them because they took there time to spend with us when they could have been practicing and I thought that was cool.

The book that I am writing about is, The Outsiders. The author is S.E Hinton. I think that the book the outsiders shows the meaning of true friendship. It all started when Ponyboy was walking home from the movies. He needed a ride but he didn’t have one so he was just going to walk home. While he was walking, a blue mustang was slowly driving next to Pony. He thought about running but they were around him and beating him up. The rest of the greasers came and saved him. Johnny had gotten beat up earlier before. The gang went to the drive in movie and met two girls that were Socs named Martia and Cherry. The girls were without their boyfriends because they were drunk and the girls didn’t want to go out with them. Cherry and Marcia’s boyfriends were mad at them so they tried to pick a fight with the greasers and Cherry didn’t let them. After that Pony and Johnny went to an empty lot to lay down and watch the sky. They both fall asleep and Pony wakes up to go home because he is late. Darry is mad and he hits Pony and pony runs away back to the empty lot where Johnny s sleeping and they run away a couple blocks down the street. Pony decides that it would be stupid to run away and starts walking home. The blue mustang is right behind them and the Socs get out and our going to drown Pony so Johnny stabs one of the guys. Pony wakes up from being unconscious for being underwater too long and they go to Dally’s house for help, he tells them where to go and they go to an abandon church for 3 days and they Dally goes to meet them and they go out to eat and when they get back the church is burning up with kids from a field trip inside. Johnny goes in to save them and So does Pony. Johnny doesn’t get out so he is hurt very badly and dies. The rest of the gang is very sad.
A place in the book where it shows the theme(friends our forever) is when Pony is about to go back to his house after waking up and realizing he is late, he tells Johnny that he could go to Pony’s house if he got to cold sleeping outside. That shows that Pony doesn’t care if anybody comes in his house for a place to sleep and that he welcomes anyone in whenever they want.
Another place in the book that it shows this theme is after Pony gets beat up. The rest of his gang comes and chases the Socs away. This shows that if anyone of the members in the gang is in trouble or hurt or whatever. His friends will always be there to help.
Another place where the book shows that friends our forever is when Dally “blew up” after he heard the news that Johnny was dead. He was so angry that he went and robbed a grocery store and stole the money and ran off. He called his friends (the gang) to help him get away from the cops and they came to the rescue. Except that they were too late, Dally had already been surrounded by the cops and he was pulling his gun out that he knew that wasn’t loaded and aimed it at the cops and they unloaded their guns out on him. The gang was so shocked after that, they never knew that Dally would kill himself and that Johnny would die at such a young age.
I think that the book the outsiders shows the meaning of true friendship. My opinion about the book is that it was kind of a sad ending. But overall it was a great book. I usualy dont like reading but I really enjoyed this book. It was cool how it talked about that we all our the same nomader what gand we our in or what friends we have.
I was quading last night in the woods and I thought it was cool to see all the leaves changing. I also saw two does running through the field.

I chose the picture of an eagle because on the fourth of july we saw a bald eagle fly over my grandmas sisters house over a small lake. We were at her her house to watch fireworks for the fourth of july. It was also my grandma’s birthday that day so we gave her a little party. Since they live on a small lake I went swimming with my cousins. When i pushed my brother in he yelled like he had just seen a ghost. We swam out to the sand bar, After that we went tubing and I never fell off. The water sprayed up at me while tubing. The sound of fireworks pierced my ears like a gunshot.
The second picture I chose was of a sand time thing because I spent a lot of time in the car on the way up to the cottage. We were getting in my grandpas truck to go to my aunts parents cottage. I had taken my Ipod and some candy for the ride. I takes about 2.5 hours to get up to the cottage. The cottage is on a lake called spider lake. On the ride there I had to sit in between my brother and my 4 year old cousin for two and a half hours!!!when we got there I leaped for joy as if i had found 100 bucks on the floor. when i heard the sound of waves, i was as happy as a man who just won the lottery.
The las picture i picked was of because this summer i went to a tigers game. We were getting in my grandpas truck to go to Detroit for the tigers game. It was my first baseball game that I was going to watch in real life other than going to a WhiteCaps game when i was like 3 years old. So I was pretty excited even though I don’t even like the tigers. The tigers were playing the Texas Rangers so I wore a shirt that my dad got for me while he was in texas, I was prouder than a peacock of my shirt. The tigers ended up losing 3-0 i thinkso I was pretty happy about that too. On the way back to my house I was as tired as if I had just ran a marathon that day.
I think the new addition is very cool and awesome. The old building seems lame to the new one. It is very clean and the opening walls are cool to. I also like the spiny chairs in the lobby place. I like the air condition in the new addition.
RESUME DE CONSUMO
Yo pienso que nosotros somos diferentes porque algunos consuman más de otros en el mundo. Algunas personas no tienen tantas cosas que nosotros tenemos y por eso no consuman tanto como nosotros y son más felices de nosotros aunque que ellos tienen mucho menos que nosotros. Yo pienso que nosotros no nos importa cuanto nosotros estamos consumando como cuando tomamos una ducha tomamos como veinte minutos y ellos tienen como un pequeño taza de agua.
Yo pienso que Dios se revela a sí mismo en esto porque el no sa todo que necesitamos y otros no son tan beneficiados que nosotros. Seguir a Jesus con respecto a este tema significa que debemos respetar a los recursos que el nos da. Debemos usar los recursos que el nos da respetuosamente y dar a personas que lo necesitan y no tienen lo que tu tienes.
Esta tema me ha impactado porque yo nunca pensaba en cuánto agua estaba usando cuando estaba tomando un ducha. No pensé de tomar una ducha fría antes pero ahora pienso en esto algunas veces cuando estoy caliente. A mi me gusta tomar largos duchas pero a mi mamá no guste la idea de eso. Yo voy a tratar de tomar duchas más cortas de ahora en adelante.
Yo voy a pensar en los personas que no tienen todo que nosotros tenemos. Voy a usar menos agua cuando tomo un ducha. Voy a usar agua fría (algunas veces) para mis duchas. Voy a apagar los luzes cuando no esoy usando los. Yo pienso que mi papel en la comunidad es decir a todos que deben apagar los luzes para conservar energía y no usar tanta agua para sus duchas. Yo aprendí que tomando duchas frías para un semana no es divertido.
