The Cay

The Cay is a wonderful book so far it’s about a boy and this man, the boy doesn’t really like the man to begin with there imgresstranded on a raft in the ocean.

Then one day the boy gets blind and so he can’t see! Then he really has to trust the man that he’s with!

Before they both get stranded on the raft Phillip [the boy] and hus mother are going back to America because their was a war going on at their country so Phillips mom didn’t think it was safe for them there. Philip and his mother left on a boat with a bunch of other people to go to America, in the middle of the night Phillip was thrown of te top bunk  he smelled fire so he grabbed all of his stuff and ran out on deck with his mother they both got on a raft with the man that Phillip is with now! Phillip fell asleep and when he woke up the only things on the raft were the man  the chefs cat.

Phillips mom drowned or died~ Thats the sad part about the story.

The Island of the Blue Dolphins

This book gets VERY sad VERY fast!

This is a wonderful book but it’s sad.

Karana is a little bossy, she is VEEEERY sad that she lost her Father and she LOVES sea otter.images

Karana tries to tell her father that there won’t be that much sea otter left after captain Orlov and his 40 men leave their will not be many of them left?!

This book is SOOOOOOOOOOO sad!

Karana is left behind with her brother who is recently killed by wild dogs so Karana has to live on the Island by herself and wait for people to come and rescue her!

Every day she has less hope than the day before soon she losses hope in her people.

She grabs a canoe and starts rowing to where her people went soon she gets a leek in her boat so she has to turn back and go back to her Island!:[

I wonder if  Karana  will run away ?

I also wonder if she will go and live with the Aluets ?

I like that she doesn’t like the Aluets because they killed her father.

I also like that she wants to go and be with her people  but that she doesn’t want to have to be  alone traveling over the water and that she wants to have her people come and care about her enough to pick her up!?

Shiloh

I wonder if Judd is ever going to find out that Shiloh is gone?

This is an awesome book!!!!

I would recommend this book to anyone if I were to rate this book I would  give it a 4 out of 5!!!!!

A summery of the last couple chapters:

Peter  and Lovisa were burying some gold when all of the sudden a German soldier jumps out, then their uncle, then their uncles assistant jumped out after him!

The German soldier  told his story,he was captured forced to be a soldier but didn’t want to so he pleaded Uncle Victor to take him back to America so he could be free,Uncle Victor took him and hide him so that if the German soldiers were looking for him than they wouldn’t shoot Uncle Victor for taking the soldier.

A couple days later the German soldiers were looking for the missing soldier in the same area where Peter and Lovisa were burying some gold in the snow  they had just finished burying the snow when the leader of the troop came up to Lovisa and said “I said we are looking  for a German infantryman. and that they are back on the road.

But I wish that they had stayed at the peoples houses.

I wonder why the dogs didn’t want to stay at the peoples house?

I also wonder why the dogs just keep on going and going and going  farther and farther and farther  away from there house?

The  OLD  boxer  was VEEEERY  lazy  when  the cat was not around.
