The People of the 3 Fires

The Ojibwa made wigwams out of animal skins,birch and maple,bent poles&mats.The Potawatami also lived in wigwams made out of nut trees and pine trees.

The Ojibwa ate fish,nuts,corn,squash,maple syrup,& wild rice.The Odawa also ate fish,corn,maple  syrup,& maple sugar.

The Ojibwa made moccasains and bags out of animal skins.The Odawa also made bags out of animal skins.

The Ojibwa lived near the western part of the lower peninsula.The Odawa lived near the eastern part of the lower peninsula.The Potawatami lived along the southern part of the lower peninsula.
