This two weeks in math has been an adventure. Our goal, which was completed, was to make a game which you can calculate the probability. Our game was a game where you spin a wheel and pick up a card. If it is the same color, or any color and wild, you win.

What I learned about probability is that it’s like, no it is, the matching/combating we learned in elementary school(I think third grade, but that was easier). It’s all in the number power.(I can’t explain it, but I know what to do… Kind of like adding… I’m awesome at it, but I can’t teach you how to do it)

Like the normal math, you can apply it life(although some things are more possible in life…. not sure the probability you’ll use 6485 x 74352 divided by 7496 + 638 = A). Unlike the normal math, you can put in as much work as possible or as little as possible, but in the normal math you need exactly to the decimal how much work you need each year, each month, each day, each minute. Also, you get more freedom and creativity in this type of math. I like this type of math

The European Union

So, we learned about the European Union through a game we played. On Wednesday, we didn’t have the European Union and on Thursday we did.

What was good about Thursday was for one: “my” country had more tourists than Wednesday which gave it more money. Another thing was I was able to travel easier, faster and didn’t have to wait in line as long. If each “round” was a day, that would be like traveling through four countries compared to seven or eight in a day(the countries probably being small). I found traveling a lot faster and quicker seeing I didn’t need to prove I was who I claimed to be and had to state why I was there(although on a real life perspective I don’t think they’d let me in if I said I was just going to buy a bumper sticker). In a real life “scale”, I think this is much easier so if, for example, my favorite band was playing in Germany and I was in Portugal with tickets, I might possibly(I said possibly all right?!) get there that same day if I wake up really early, but with customs and money exchanging, I’d probably have to start my journey a day before the concert is. Which, at that point, would have to be a really good concert to go.

On Wednesday, it wasn’t very busy(one or two people came… -_-”), but adding the fee of changing money we got more money per person. At least there weren’t tourists fights over dumb bumper stickers unlike Thursday(a fight happened in Spain and someone stepped on my foot when I was on my “shift” in Portugal… XD).

Between these two days, I liked when we had the European Union(Thursday) the best.
