October 12-16, 2020

Dear Parents,

What a beautiful weekend! I hope you enjoyed the sights, smells, pumpkins, cider, and all things fall this weekend!  The colors are breathtaking and during fall I’m always reminded of God’s faithfulness as “Summer and winter and springtime and harvest”, God is always faithful! Join me in thanking God for the many ways he shows his faithfulness in our lives!

I pray you have a good, solid routine of learning at home this week. Last week Friday, Tim McAboy reminded us that we have been in-person at school for 7 weeks!  Praise God!  We continue to pray that we can keep working in this healthy, strong learning environment  together!  Have  a great week!

Blessed by your kids- and you,

Julie

Here is our peek into our week ahead:

Parent Teacher Conferences: Thank you for signing up for a time to meet together to discuss the joys and celebrations of learning as well as a growth opportunities for your children!  I look forward to meeting with you virtually. If your conference is scheduled for Thursday, I will send home a packet of papers that we will use for out virtual meeting. Please have those in front of you when we meet in our zoom class. I will be sending you the Zoom link prior to our conference time.  I look forward to meeting together!

This week, Zulea is our Star of the Week!  We will share some pictures she has for us so we can learn more about Amara!! Please remember that we will not be sharing food treats this year, but students may bring in another small, non-food item to share if they’d like to.   Next week, we will take a week off because of our short week.

Book It continues:  Students can earn a free, personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut when they complete the Pizza form.  Students simply color in 1 slice of pizza for every 15 minutes of reading.  When the form is completed, send it to school and I’ll give students their coupon for their pizza!
