En este capítulo Bilbo Bolsón, Thorin y los enanos viajaron hasta el hogar de Smaug, un dragón gigantesco. Cuando estuvieron asegurándose de detalles cómo dónde está el dragón en la cueva con tesoros, y cómo van a matar el dragón y tomar el tesoro cuando el dragón estuvo dormido, Bilbo Bolsón ,un Hobbit, tomó un poco del tesoro cuando estuvo explorando con su anillo mágico que le hizo invisible. El dragón se despertó y se fue buscando el ladrón. Ahora Bilbo Bolsón está hablando con el dragón con su anillo mágico puesto.

Yo pienso que la historia terminará con los enanos y Bilbo matando al dragón en una gran batalla y robarán todo el tesoro y lo llevarán a su casa con la ayuda de Gandalf, el mago vestido de gris. Luego tendrán que proteger todo el tesoro de las muchas personas, animales y cosas que quieren robarlo.

Since Christmas we have been learning lots of cool skills. We learned how to make histograms, line plots, and frequency tables. To make line plots you have to find out how many of each number there is,  and then you make a bar graph. We are learning how to play “Pirates of the Caribbean” in band. It is a cool sounding song and sounds pirate-sounding. In art we are leaning how to draw a one-point perspective drawing. To do this you have to find the vanishing point and then use the vanishing point to find orthogonal lines, vertical lines, and horizontal lines to complete the drawing.

Over the last few months we have learned a lot. In art class we learned about one point perspective. In a one-point perspective drawing all the lines are either orthogonal, horizontal or vertical. In science we are learning about tectonic plates. We are making models to show how different plates are moving. In Social studies we are learning about the ancient Chinese people. The Han empire was the biggest empire. That is what we learned.
