We “came up” with our idea from a person we admire so much. He gave us the idea. The problem is that Betty wants to know how tall her tree is. She is standing 4 feet away from it and has a rope that is 9 feet attached to the top of it. We used the Pythagorean theorem to find the answer. The tree is 9.8 ft tall.
