¡Queridos Padres!

I give thanks to God every day for each of you and each of my students (your child) It is very hard to think about me leaving this place 🙁 and this community. I am sure God will be with us, but my feelings sometimes flourish!
During this holiday season,  all of the first grades will be focusing on the many ways we can thank God in our giving.  As a First Grade project, we would like to collect hats and mittens to give to His Harvest Stand. Our hope is to walk over and deliver our donations in person the last week in December. Feel free to send new or gently used hats or mittens to school anytime after Thanksgiving!  Thank you!
We are planning a food drive for His Harvest Stand…which is located just down the street at City on a Hill. It is a local food pantry benefitting local families in need.
We will collect the boxes of cereal and jars of peanut butter through Nov. 26.
Thank you for helping us bless others in our community!
Due to a short week next week I am writing this newsletter for the next 2 weeks.
I am in need of someone to do lunch duty on November 26!!! Please let me know if this is possible for any of you!?!?

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, suggestion or advice.

Grace & Peace;
Maestra Ruiz
