Ideal Church vs. Early Church

This week in bible we discussed what we wanted in our ideal church, and then we looked back at what the early church looked like. I noticed that the early church is much more focused around fellowship and just being with each other, and the ideal church is much more worldly and about what would make church fun. I think that we should try to be more like the early church, because the bible calls us to be strange and out of the ordinary, not what the world thinks. It doesn’t even matter where we are for it to be church, because the Holy Spirit lives in us, not in a building that we go to every Sunday. Like the early church, we should focus on fellowship and loving on each other, and sharing our differences, along with what we own.
