Phillis wheatley

Phillis was captured and sold when she was only seven years old.  She was born in africa in 1753. She was bought by John Wheatley and Susannah Wheatley. She was lucky because she was treated very good for being a african american slave she rote a lot of poems  one of them was Crispus Attucks the only african american shoot in the boston massacre. All her kids died very young infact they died right when they where babys. When she died she was writeing her second poem book but they never found the book after. She was very smart compered to the other african american slaves that did a lot of planting stuff but she did  a lot of stuff like reading and she spoke seven languages and of course she rote poems. She was lucky because she got to publish her poems because her owners sent it to London and got it published there.imgres
