I have learned how to do two step equations so far this year.  I can now figure out a missing number x in a problem. If there were  4x+10=26 I can figure out what x is.     You would first minus 10 from the +10 and from the 26. That leaves us with 4x=16. You then have to ÷ 4 from 4x and÷2 from 16.    x= 4   (4 times 4+ 10=26)
