The Pioneers used their environment by planting gardens in fertile soil,

they´ve also modify the environment by polluting rivers and they adapted to the environment by taking their wooden stove out in the spring.

The MI used their environment  by cutting down trees for wigwams they´d also modified the environment by

digging in the ground. And finely they adapted to the environment by wearing animal skin shoes in the winter.
