Theme Verse

They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.

Last year we went to a leadership camp, and we learned how to be a leader and how to worship better. We also chose the theme for the year which is “Shout Silently – Actions that Speak”. I can use this theme as an 8^th grader and in the world.

To me being a 8^th grader means be a leader and be more mature, socialize with others especially younger kids. Pick up some trash that is out in the hall even though it is not yours, and do not just throw your trash on the floor. You could learn some names of kids so if you see them out in the hall you can talk to them not just walk past.

To me being a good christian leader means being a good listener and a good speaker, because you can’t be a good leader without listening to other people thoughts and to portray them to the actions that you do. Kind of like our theme “Actions that Speak”. And to me it means help others not just think about what you need.

I can use these things as an 8^th grader and in the world. I think that we should use all of these things that I listed on a day to day bases. Because it helps you be a better christian and a better leader, and everybody appreciates it when your a good leader.
