There are two kinds of covenants conditional and unconditional. The sinai covenant that God made with the Israelites was conditional. Because if the Israelites didn’t listen to God’s rules then the covenant would be broken. The covenant that God made when he sent Jesus is unconditional. Because no matter what God will keep that covenant. My visual is friendships because if you lie to your friend that wound would eventually heal just like if you cut yourself. No matter what if it’s a true friendship it is always there.
