The Rule

The Rule:In a sentence, the subject and verb must match.

When that happens, we say the subject and verb agree.

When a subject is singular (stands for one thing), the verb usually ends in s.

Example:  She likes to draw.

When a subject is plural (stands for more than one thing) or the subject is I or you, the verb usually does not end with s.

Examples: Maggie and Ben like to draw.

                      I like to draw pictures.

How was Ruth meeting Boaz “providential“? Where do you see God’s hand?

God was planing all her life to meet him and to have a family by her husband sadly being dead.

Have you ever seen and experienced God’s providence in your own life?

  When Anna helped me when I got hurt in 3rd grade, I felt that, that was something that was meant to happen!

Yes, because putting it together and sharing it with others is harder than you would think!

I was surprised by the pulley system; when you pull it the flipper would move.

I learned how to make a complete light bulb circuit.

There was always a person that you could rely on and help you to think through the problems.

Some struggles are repeating over and over what you said to people.

Goals in the future

Be open to other people’s ideas and not just yours.

 

I can grow before Market Day by doing stuff independently so that it’s more fun working together as groups and listening to peoples ideas.

What we Learned from this experiment

Magnetic poles each of the two points or regions of an artificial or natural magnet to and from which the lines of magnetic force are directed.

The electromagnet is an energised magnet  that has a battery attached to the nail. To make an electromagnet you need a nail,a battery, a wire and some paper clips. First you wrap the wire around the nail as many times as you want. Second you attach the wire to the battery. Last you put the nail above the paper clips and you should be able to pick up some paper clips.

What  we  LEARNED  from the experiment?

Jenna: learned from the experiment that an open circuit means that it is off the light bulb will not come on.

Ashley: learned from the experiment that you have to have a closed circuit for a light bulb to light up. If it is closed that means there is no break or open spot in the circuit.

I learned from the experiment that the switch is open the light bulb will be off and if the switch is closed the light bulb will be on. (P.S. Kylie did it)

Jenna: An Electric current is a closed source that means the electricity is going through all of the items in the circuit the source, switch and the light bulb the electricity has a path that it takes.

Ashley: The conductor is an object that can be attracted to a magnet. (Example: A paper clip, the metal part of scissors, a nail and a screw.)

Our shared IDEAS & DRAWINGS

Our idea is to have at least a few bumpers and to have a motor and a light we are going to have a tunnel that the marble will go through and will hit a button that will turn something on either a motor or a light.

What my family has done to wait for Christmas: Every Sunday during Advent we will gather around are dinner table and we all read a passage from the Christmas story and then my dad will pray every part of that process for Advent and the long waiting is huge and it all means a lot to me and I hope it does to you to.

 

After Reading what my dad has written it is huge on my life. He was concerned about everyone’s health when we went to Mexico for a mission trip when I was five. It’s a big deal what has happened in my life and I hope it will be till i’m older. I almost started to cry when I was reading it it was so deep in what he wrote And I’m sure if you read it you would start crying to with me.

My dad said: When our family was thinking of all of us to going to Mexico on a mission trip there was a lot of concern about how we were going to be able to do it, we were also concerned on safety for us all. when we spread the word about what we were doing and and prayed about it the response to help financially and with prayers was overwhelming .We also spent the whole week there without anybody getting sick. Many prayers were answered.

The advice he gave was: Jenna, “walk close to God today and you will be in the center of God’s will tomorrow

I love snow because it’s a part of Gods creation and when it snows it looks perfect everything is covered in snow and God knows that we should have snow on a certain day and he makes it happen.

 

What we learned from the experiment

We learned that mass and weight is two different things.

We also learned that there are lot’s of different things.

 

Also the more weight of an object the more speedy it will go.

Also the force of the object is a very important part of a pinball machine

The force is a strength or an energy.

Acceleration is also called fast.

weight is a important part of the process.

Race cars have less friction then regular cars.
