In science we had to pick a volcano and make a model of it. We also had to make a slideshow presentation about our volcano. In our group we chose Mauna Loa which is in Hawaii. Mauna Loa is a shield volcano which means it erupts lava and has a gently sloping side. We have a turkey baster inside our volcano representing the magma chamber and the pipe. We have lava tubes, a crater, a caldera, and more. We learned a lot about volcanoes during this project.
