Holy Spirit

December 9, 2014

The Holy Spirit was give to those who believe in Jesus, in order to produce God’s character in he life. In a way that we cannot do on our own, is that the Holy Spirit will build into our lives love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and selfishness. Rather than trying to be loving, patient, kind, God asks us to rely on Him to produce these qualities in our live. The Holy Spirit just doesn’t work in us christians but also who may not know Jesus/God, The Holy Spirit also performs a function for non-Christians as well. He convicts people’s hearts of God’s truth concerning how sinful we are, needing God’s forgiveness, how righteous Jesus is. Jesus died for us, and God’s eventual judgement of the world and those who do not know him. The Holy Spirit works in our hearts, and asking us to repent to him, and to give us a new life.

How the Holy Spirit is working in my life is like whenever we have middle school chapel or in fact in other chapel I can feel the Holy Spirit working in me. Another way that the Holy Spirit is working in me is that it doesn’t have to be like chapels but like sometimes for me nature is a thing because like when I went to Colorado this summer I went up Pikes Peak which is like 14,000 ft up, and you could just see over everything, and whenever I see that kind of nature I can feel the Holy Spirit working in me. Also another way that the Holy Spirit is working in me is like when like a actually concentrate and read the Bible and do devotions I feel something in me that is telling me to do more of it, like helping others, or even helping my friends if they are in a struggle with something. But sometimes I fail because when the Holy Spirit working in my heart and trying to say or do I want to listen because I want to it my way, because that what I is right, even though deep down I know that the Holy Spirit/Jesus plans for me are the ones that I should follow.
