Theme Writing

Bible Verse:

“They have no speech, they use no words,

no sound is heard from them.

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,

their words to the end of the world.”

-Psalm 19:3-4

Last year, our 7th grade class went to a camp and it was called leadership camp. Leadership Camp is when 7th graders learn the expectations of being an 8th grader.  We also had to make up a theme for the coming school year. We chose “Shout Silently” and we’re excited because we can use this theme in school and out in the world.

I think I can use this theme at my school in many ways. I could help the kids that can’t find their classrooms. I can be a good role model to the kids in the younger grades. I could hang-out with the kids who don’t have friends. I can also do my best in everything I work on.

I can use this theme out in the world and in my home as well. I could go on mission trips and help people by listening to their life stories. I could give a random stranger a smile to brighten their day. I can also shout silently when someone is having a bad day, by complimenting them to make them feel better. I can help clean the house or play with my little brother without being asked.

I can use the theme “Shout Silently” in different ways in my school and in the world. By helping others, I can make them feel better. Shouting silently is a form of worshiping God.
