We used the Pythagorean theorem Theorem to figure out what the length of the roof so that he could buy new roofing. The lengths were 44ft on the bottom and 20 ft vertical.

Answer-
29.73

22 + 20 = C

484 + 400 = C

884 = C
√(884) = C
29.73 = C
