PART I
If there was a part of my life that I could freeze it would be when I went to the Georgia skate park for the first time.
The reason that I would freeze that part of my life is that it is what started my love for skating. another reason that I would freeze it is that my dad took me there for the first time. Ever since my first Friday going there we went there for a long time after that. I made some good memories and had fun there and I wish that I could go back.
PART II
God is telling me to get all of my work done. His presence comforts me because then I know I can definitely get it done.
I don’t usually find it easy to get my work done but when God tells me That I can then I know I can.

Reflection blog post

What did you learn or think about the most this week from our theme “Psalms teach us to say, “Forgive me,
Lord”. Was there a phrase from a Psalm that stood out? When did you stop this week to ask God for forgiveness? Respond with at least 5 complete sentences.
I learned that no matter what we are always broken.
We always need God’s help.
The presents of God help us.
We can always learn more wisdom from God about guidance.
We can use God to guide us thru these hard times.

With forgiveness comes repentance. To “repent” literally means to change directions. After we ask forgiveness, receiving God’s grace can cause us to want to act differently than before–to repent. Tell a story about a time when you acted differently after asking for forgiveness. OR tell about something that you would like to do differently in order to better reflect God’s love. What happened? How did you feel? Use at least 5 complete sentences.
1)One of the first times that I started mowing the lawn I was kind of careless.
2)I did not pay attention to the lines that much.
3)And by the time I was done I had left “mohawks” in the grass.
4)After I went inside I had to redo it and go over the “mohawks”.
5)Now I have learned to pay more attention to the lines.
Tell a story about something creative that you did this week. What happened? Who was a part of making it happen? Use at least 5 complete sentences.
I learned to tailwhip my scooter off the curb.
I started by having my scooter deck on the edge of the curb. And just bunny hopping and tail whipping my scooter.
Then I started slowly rolling on the parking lot witch is flat ground and tail whipping my scooter.
Then I began to roll up to the curb and then bunny hopped and tailwhip my scooter.
After about 5 tries to tailwhip my scooter off of the curb I landed it.

Did God speak to you clearly this week when choosing the possible theme? If so, describe what that was like. If you did not hear God’s voice, how did that make you feel? Did the Zoom on Tuesday make sense to you? Do you have any suggestions for the 8th-grade teachers on finding the theme during distance learning? Do you have any questions for the 8th-grade teachers?

This week I feel like God did speak to me but it was not perfectly clear. I was filling out the stuff on the google doc and looking at bible verses and one of them looked good and I liked what it said. The zoom on Tuesday made sense to me when and the explaining of what we are going to do made sense.

Describe one gift or talent that you have that you could use to lead ZCS next year? Where and when could that gift be used at ZCS? For example, you might say that you like to organize so you could help Mr. Commeret organize the Lost and Found. You would do this by…

I like to help people with stuff they can’t figure out so if someone doesn’t understand something then I can help them. I also, like to do things with friends and I can make new friends. And maybe those people didn’t have a big friend group before that.

Listen to these songs and connect the song to “Listening to God” or this week’s search for a theme. What phrase stuck out to you? Why? You may comment one sentence on each song or you may do all three of your sentences with one song. You may find a song that I do not mention below that fits with “Listening to God” or our theme week and use that too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZI2gOBvBHk -God Speaking – Mandisa

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rut8czkZU54 Sound of Your Voice – Third Day

The phrase “you see what I cannot see” from the song I’m listening stuck out to me because we need to listen to him to know what to do. And if we listen to what he tells us to do we can do good for others. So if I don’t understand why he is telling me to do something but I still trust him he can see what will happen but I can’t so I still have to trust him.

Bible final exam#8

something is rotten

Israel had king after king and they all failed. When people keep constantly changing religions/gods they are like the kings of israel failing to do their parts correctly. If you commit to a sport or religion you have to know the time or money that you will put into it and the sacrifices you will have to make in the future. This relates to me because of the level of soccer I play and the money and time we as a family put into My soccer.

The promised land

If you obey God and then you will be “rewarded”. God chooses to send you into temptations every day and whether you ignore them or not, then you will know if you made it the way God wanted you to carry out your day. My relation to this is I need to work on fallowing out God’s plan for m
