In Math, Social Studies, and Language Arts we are creating a Egyptian museum. You are probably wondering how Math and Egypt relate! Well we had to have some seventh graders take a survey to tell us what they like and dislike in a museum. We tallied them up, found out the mean, mode, median, and range was, then put them on graphs. I made one of the mode on a bar graph.
Our assignment was to piant a word picture in our readers’ minds of a person, place, or thing. How did I do?
Sand on the beach towels, water on your feet, the sound of laughter when the waves knock over little children. You can just smell the grains of sand. My favorite time to go to the beach is when it is warm out so the water feels good. I love to go to the beach right when the sun is setting it looks so pretty! I always eat lunch there with my family, I like to pack a bunch of foods like lettuce and tomato and then put it all on white bread at the beach. I go to the beach in the winter and walk on the really thick ice. It is so cool. We like to go in the fall too and walk by the pier. We go to the beach year around cause I love it so much.
