I think they had the right to because they were getting taxed for tea. But they shouldn’t of because even though the British taxed the tea the colonists should of just went over there and told them to stop. But over all they had the right.

I think it was the colonists fault because if the boys wouldn’t of thrown snow balls at the British Soldiers then the Soldiers wouldn’t of come over by them. Also because the crowd of the colonists yelled fire and the British Soldiers thought it was Captain Presscot. The British Soldiers can’t disobey there Captain.
