Egg Experiment

The experiment we did in class was with eggs. we took the eggs and placed them in vinegar and the vinegar disolved the egg’s shell. The egg’s membrane was left. We put that in different substances to see how they reacted. They either absorbed the different liquids or didn’t. We did all this in class because we were studying cells, and cells basically do the same thing. They have permeable membranes that absorb different things depending on the concentration of the substances in and out of the cell.
