I think that God is preparing me in many many ways. If that be through art, or traveling, or singing, I don’t know but I am excited to find out.

I love to draw, any type of art intrigues me and I can spend a lot of time finishing a piece. I can also spend hours looking at art and finding out what it might mean to the artist. All art has it’s meanings, even if the artist just wants to portray beauty or something she/he is interested in, or maybe it had a deep philosophical meaning I love art because it never has the same meaning to any one person. To the person next to you it means something completely different than it does to you, and I think that’s beautiful. Also with art, once it never existed, the artist came up with an idea in their head and drew how they wanted to draw. Art has no boundaries. You can be so creative with it and no one will care. If you want to put contour colors where the highlights would be you can and no one cares they just think you’re really unique, which you are. I love art because you can express yourself without any boundaries.

Although I have a passion for art I also have a passion for traveling. Traveling for me is seeing amazing new things that maybe someone build a few months ago or maybe it’s been there for millions of years. You never know what you’re going to come across or who you’ll meet. I went out to Wyoming a few summers ago and got to go and camp there for a month. It was amazing to meet so many new people and see so many new things. I got to hike up a mountain called Jackson Peak, In front of us are the Tetons a famous mountain range but behind us there were so many mountains that I didn’t even know were there. I like to call them the quiet giants. Once you got up at the top you’re captivated by the view and it’s so beautiful. I also got to go on JD4 which was a horse pack ride. We were out for 5 days and rode 25 miles in all. the 3rd day we went on a hike with our guide named Will and we saw and hiked through a bunch of water falls. It was amazing to see and experience. I made so many friends with the councilors and the kids. I could go on forever about what I experienced that summer so I’ll end it here but I get to go back again this summer also and I could not be more excited.

Obviously I have a passion for both Art and Traveling but don’t worry theres so much more. I love singing. I’ve never taken classes and I taught myself by listening to other artist and picking up some techniques. I would video tape myself and see what I needed to work on and what simply didn’t work for my voice. I wish I could go on more but sadly I have to go to my next class.
