Mi país es Chile. La capital de Chile es Santiago. El colores de la Bandera  es azul, rojo, y blanca. Chile es en Sudamerica. Chile tocan el Oceano Pacifco. Chile tocan Argentina. En Chile, usan Buenas Dias o Buenas Tardes. Por un mujer, un beso por la mejilla es Hola, o un abrazo es Hola. Un saludo en Chile no es adios, es chau.

We can be the salt by preserving our Faith in God just like salt preserves meat and other foods. Preserving our faith means that we want to keep trusting and believing in God and following Him. We can also be the salt by flavoring others lives just like salt flavors bland foods. We can flavor others lives by telling them about God so that they have the flavor and joy in their lives.

We can be the light by serving others and being the light in their lives and being happy while doing it and they will see that we’re happy and they will want to be happy to. We can also be the light by being Christ’s witnesses and being like Him by being kind to others and loving our enemies. Another way we can be the light in someone’s life is doing good deeds to glorify God and making Him glad.

On Wednesday we did our bible service project and Kenzie, Maria, and me helped out in the school library. We moved the Spanish biographies and non fiction books to the non fiction section and then we put all the kids books in alphabetical order. That day I learned that being selfless might not always be fun but if you have a good attitude about it and have a loving heart you can make it fun, and it will make you happy to know that you are helping someone and making their day better.                                                                                                                 These are the books we organized

We went to Calvin College and watched a chemistry demonstration and I learned that nail polish remover is actually acetone and it dissolves styrofoam. I also learned that if you put hot water in a bucket and add liquid nitrogen and ping pong balls the ping pong balls will shoot up into the air.

We can help bring people to Christ by doing the littlest things, like being kind or helping someone. These are just a few ways that you can bring others to christ.

Serve others, be kind, invite others to GEMS, cadets, church, Sunday school, Youth group, and bible study, Tell others the Gospel, give a bible to someone, reflect Jesus in your words, actions, and behavior, Be selfless, you can also tell others about God on the bus and at school.

What are some ways that we are tempted?

Some ways that we are tempted in fifth grade are misusing time on the computer and not doing what you are supposed to be doing, gossiping and talking behind peoples back, and bullying and not being kind.

How can we avoid these temptations?

We can avoid them by praying to God to help us make the right decisions and using scripture to remind us to not be tempted.

How would you feel if you had to be a refugee?

I would feel sad because if I was running a way from a war my house probably be gone and all my friends properly would have to run away to and we would never see them again. I would also be scared because if you have to run away because it’s usually to save your life and thats scary. I would also be angry because people are trying to kill my family and friends.

How Does this make you appreciate what Jesus did even more?

Running away for your life is a very scary thing to de especially if you are a young child.  When you really think about how Jesus was persecuted and think about how much had to have hurt it really makes you appreciate him a lot more.

‘Are we there yet?” I asked “Do camels talk?”   Said Bartholomew the smarty pants.I sighed. What if there really is no king?” I asked”Are you CRAZY!!!!!!! OF COURSE THERE IS A KING!!!!!!””But what if theres not.””UGGGGGHHHHHH! Would you just be quiet for five minutes! Bartholomew, a.k.a Barry,  screamed. He was trying to concentrate on the map, which makes no sense because we have no idea where we are going. Then our big brother Micah spoke up, “You guys have to stop fighting, what would mom say?””Let’s play a game of license plate bingo!” I exclaimed.”Really? you think we’re going to find a license plate out here?” said       Barry.”Yah!””Wow.””SANDSTORM!!!!!!” Screamed Micah. Quick, Barry, John, get of the camels and get down!” “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! SANDSTORM!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed, “I AM DEATHLY AFRAID OF SANDSTORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”  “Isn’t every one?” screamed Barry, but I couldn’t hear him, I had sand in my ear.”Everyone cover your ears!” screamed Micah but I also couldn’t hear that because I already had so much sand in my ears. When the storm was over, which was only about 10 minutes I spoke up, “This king better be good if we going to go through all this.” (At the beginning of the trip we got attacked by a band of snakes)  allen asleep  from fright, he is VERY afraid of sand storms)  “I guess that’s true.”  Just then Barry woke up, “Look its Jerusalem!”  “Yay!” we all cheered. When we got into the city and went to the palace to ask the king if he had heard of the baby king. Then he bellowed at us, “What do you mean a baby king? “We are following the big star and we think it leads to a new king.” “Interesting, when you find him report to me so I can come and worship him.” “We would be glad to” I replied. We set of again following the star and then after a few weeks we came across a small little house with a star shining brightly above it.

Massachusetts is a very family friendly place with all the land to play on. We are very big on education, so your kids can get the best jobs like teachers! We also have a constable to make sure you are safe. We have made peace with the indians  so you don’t have to worry about any wars.      Massachusetts is the perfect place to teach your kids all they need to know about farming and house keeping because there is not a lot of people there yet so you can teach them how to cultivate land and set up the house and how to cook and plant and take care of the crops.
