Christian Persecution Project

This semester we’ve been learning about Christian persecution all over the world in the past and now in the present. To wrap up the lesson we had a big project to spread the word to others and help out and donate to an organization that helps those who are being persecuted all over the world. Every group had a country on the top 50 persecution list. My country was Afghanistan. So I and my group studied Christian persecution in Afghanistan. It was a little overwhelming since we thought we’d have some more time, but in the end, we got it done. In the end, we had a poster with information about Afghanistan. We had two voiceover stories about Christian converts. We had all of our Bible persecution stories on the table as well for people to read. Our visual was an underground church made up of cardboard, cardboard, cardboard, tape, and a green screen tarp to make it dark. In the underground church, there were a bunch of small pews and a cross at the front of them with a light shining on it like a little scene. The church was small, cramped, sketchy and dark just like an actual underground church, so it pretty much worked out.
