So far, my eighth-grade year is awesome. I’ve had so much fun. I really enjoy that we get lots of time to do homework during class. I like it because sometimes I am really busy after school, so it is really helpful that I have a designated time to get things done. I also really enjoy that we get to choose where we eat lunch. I like being able to hang out with my friends. One thing I’ve learned this year is about Christopher Colombus. I always thought that he was a good guy. But now I know that he wasn’t all that great. He was a murderer. I really look forward to the eighth-grade play. I’m going to try out for a part, and if I don’t get a part, I will do set or costumes. I hope the rest of my year goes well and isn’t too stressful.
