Lock In

Cara is a 11 year old girl whose parents got divorced. Cara does not know that she is kind of a bully. Lily is a caring 11 year old girl. Her parents were divorced also. They both live with their moms, Read to find out how Cara turns out to not be a bully.
“Mom” cried Cara from her king sized bed, “ I am going to go walk around the hotel since it’s raining cats and dogs out there.” “ O.k.” hollered Mom. So Cara went walking, “ I’m glad to be away from school for awhile for Christmas break. It’s nice not having people walk away from me every day.”
The week before school Cara had taken a girl’s lunch money from her. With tears in her eyes Lily was left with no lunch. While Cara was walking in the hall she saw the girl that she had taken the lunch money from. Cara snuck up from behind her and yelled “BOO!” Lily felt a jerk on her shoulder. She was so scared her glasses fell off Cara grabbed them and ran. “Hey come back with those,” she yelled but Cara was already out of sight.
“That girl Cara I want her to stop taking my things first my lunch money, then my glasses I am sick of it.” Lily thought “It’s not fair. Everyone else loves when I get picked on. Then they all follow in her footsteps. Now they all call me four eyes.” Lily crawled on the ground so long she got big holes in her sweat pants. Lily crawled right into an open closet. “This ground feels like cement.”
Meanwhile Cara was walking down the hall swinging the glasses on her arm and thinking “ Why are people so scared of me?” “ They have no reason.” thought Cara. While she was doing more thinking she saw lily in the closet. She decided to go bring Lily her glasses. Cara was beginning to understand that what she was doing to Lily was not kind. But on her way she accidentally kicked the door stop then BOOM they were locked in the closet “ENEMIES” locked in a burning hot closet.
“ DDDDDid II ever TTTell you that IIIIII am claustrophobic.” stammered Lily.
“ No whimp I do not care I just want to get out of here!” hollered Cara.
“ I aaamm aaalso aaaafraid of the ddddark, and I can ggget ooover hhheatted very eeeeasly.” Lily stammered yet again.
“ Chicken bawk bawk bawk bawk bawk.” cried Cara. Lily started to try to find a light switch. After about an hour Lily yelled “ Cara I found a light switch!”
“ Great work Lily, WOW! that is the first time I have ever called you Lily. It feels really weird not calling you foureyes, I like it Lily. Now how do we get out?”
“ Well the door is 3.7 inches thick that is as long as my glasses.” exclaimed Lily. “ We can use your glasses” replied Cara in a loving voice
“ Ok” whispered Lily while they were unlocking the door Cara whispered.
“ Sorry for everything I have done to you I will tell all the other kids that you don’t deserve to be picked on. Should we become friends?”
“ Sure.” Replied Lily. When they got back to Cara’s room Lily yelled. “ Hey my room is right next to yours I have a great idea we should ask our Moms if we could both sleep in my room tonight.”
“ Ok.” answered Cara happily.
That night they told each others point of view over and over again.“ Lets take a selfie to remember this day at the Rodzina Hotel.” replied Cara “ Sounds good bestie.” They printed it out and put in a frame for each of them. They became FRIENDS.
