Science Erosion Project

In Science class, we were assigned a type of erosion. We had to work with out table partner to create some unique to show the process of our erosion. My table partner, Dainen and I, were assigned wind erosion, so we created two 3D projects; one of before the erosion, and one of after the erosion. Every group also had to come up with at least 7 vocabulary words and show them in their project. We labled our vocab words by using popsicle sticks. Before the erosion, the land was flat with rough rocks. After the erosion, the land had hills with smooth rocks.

Volcano Project

In Science Class, when learning about volcanoes, we created our own actual volcano. First we chose a volcano and created a poster about it. Then, we created a real life ‘exhibit’ of it. Today in Class we watched them explode. Before we did though, we were told to take a picture of our volcano. This was my groups’ project. (Credit to Maggie and Andrea)   Here is a video of our eruption: Click Here

Our volcano is a Composite volcano. Composite volcanoes have AA type lava, and usually have explosive eruptions. In Our volcano, we used many things to represent different parts. (Example: cotton balls for the could of gasses, and chocolate chips and glitter for the rocks/bombas that come out in the eruption.)
