Growing in the Design Project

How I have grown in the past few weeks. I have grow in this design project in my courage to stand up there and to speak to professionals and 150 adults. I also have grown in thinking out of the box. For example then we can have more ideas for this gathering space and then we could create different ideas for the gathering space that our clients wanted. I think we all grew in that are of thinking as well not just me. I also grew in memorizing lines for our skit that we did, which was pretty hard for me. We all had grown in making prototypes for our gathering space so that we could show the adults and our clients what we were thinking for our gathering area. I also learned that there is no right way for designing a gathering space.  Each of the groups went a different way with designing there gathering space. For example some had more water then others some had foam pits some didn’t. I also learned that different people think different ways so that was why we di it in groups. For example if i said a waterfall other people might say well what if we had the waterfall land into the coi pond, which gives you a lot of different ideas for this gathering space that we are going to make. I also learned that it takes a lot of time to design a item, even if it is a little item it still takes a lot of thought and brainstorming. That is what I have earned in the past few weeks of deigning this gathering space.

    Hi Tyler–
Good for you! It sounds like you gained confidence, expertise and a willingness to accept and incorporate the ideas of others.
