Egypt Museum

All of 6th grade studied Egypt for about 3 weeks and our groups made a Museum each on different topics. Our groups topics were religion and technology. We made most of our stuff with legos and project bricks, we also had 2 slide shows.
I learned that it was really hard to live there and it was very complex. I learned that it took about 100 men to move one stone of the pyramid and it took them about a 2 years to make one pyramid. I also learned that chariot racing was a big event in ancient Egypt, people from all around would go to watch. The chariots were really complex and kind of weird in a way. Also that when the pharaoh died they killed 30 more people for servants in the afterlife witch is just a belief. They also killed a lion sometimes to show the power of the pharaoh.
Working in a group is not that easy, everybody has different talents and I have to sometimes sit back and let them do what they are good at, because I think I take over other peoples jobs sometimes. I think it was a really good experience for us to work in a group like that, we could learn more about some people that you maybe don’t know as well. We could also learn our talents. Thats why I think they put us in groups.
