- Capital letters: newspaper and magazine titles are capitalized
- We use the word “de” to express ownership. Ex: La casa de mis abuelos. El carro de mi mamá.
- Word Wall Words: era, tan, así, no, ni
- Syllables – na, ne, ni, no, nu
- Phonetic Book: Lo que pide Mona
- Poems: Ven a mi huerto
- Culture and language – Phrases: Estoy cansado (a). Tengo frío. Hace frío.
- Mentor Text: El flamboyán amarillo
- Vocabulary words: la vereda (the lane), el trecho (the path), sofocante (very hot), el daño (damage), la sombra (the shade), el paisaje (the view), sencilla (simple), sublime (sublime)
WRITING:
Writing small moments.
Stretching words to hear and record all the sounds.
