John Adams

Early Life: John Adams was born on October 30, 1735. He was born in Braintree, Massachusetts to John and Susana Adams. His father was a farmer and his mother was a descendant from a rich family in Massachusetts. When he was 16 years old he went to Harvard University and graduated at age 20 with a Masters Degree.

Accomplishments: His accomplishments were being the 2nd president, signed the treaty of Paris, approved of the Boston Tea Party, he was part of the first continental congress, was vice president under George Washington, he protested the acts and signed the declaration of independence.

Contributions to the colonies: His contributions were he was president, vice president and led the U.S.A. and helped free America, signed the Declaration of Independence and helped make George Washington commander in chief of the army.

Political Ideas Important to him: He was a Patriot because he helped fight against the British and for Americas freedom and because he was the President of the U.S.A.

Other interesting information: He once brought a gun to school, died on July independence day and it was the 50th anniversary and he helped sign it. He was the only one of the first five presidents to not have slaves, he was not a popular president because he had lots of ideas and he died the same day as his rival.
