My favorite part of the christmas story is the part about the shepherds. this is the part of the story told briefly.

There were shepherds in the fields watching there sheep when an angel appeared to them and said do not be afraid I bring good news that will be for all people to day in the town of David a savior has been born this will be a sign to you you will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger suddenly a great compony of the heavenly host appeared praising God and saying glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests the angels left them and went to heaven the shepherd said lets go and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has told us about. So they left and found Mary and Joseph and Jesus when they had found them they spread the word all who heard where amazed at whet the shepherds had told them.

I like this part most because I like to imagine them in the field watching there sheep and there was  bright light they look up and see an angel staring down at them i like to imagine there faces.

Three new thing i learned about the christmas story and the characters in the christmas story. i learned that a wise man was called a magi and that magi’s study the stars i also learned that  the star followed Jesus and didn’t  just disappear after that night.
